Opportunities
The lab welcomes prospective undergraduate researchers, graduate students, postdocs, and academic visitors. We work with researchers from a wide range of backgrounds — field and laboratory biologists, other quantitative biological scientists, and students and collaborators coming in from mathematics, statistics, computing, or the physical sciences.
Prospective graduate students
If the lab’s work looks like a fit:
- Look through the Research and Software pages and a few of Dan’s recent publications to find the threads that interest you most.
- Develop strong quantitative skills before you apply.
- Field- and lab-based projects may be available through co-supervision with other KU scientists.
Applications go through KU’s Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Useful starting points:
The annual application deadline is December 1.
